Bryon Houlgrave

Bryon Houlgrave is an award-winning photojournalist and videographer at the Des Moines Register in Des Moines, Iowa. Having spent more than seven years at the Register, Houlgrave has covered everything from politics on a national scale to NCAA athletics to documenting the lives of Midwesterners with a unique vision and eye for detail.

Prior to his career as a video journalist, Houlgrave was a news and government reporter covering towns in Iowa and Wisconsin.
